Science Experiment Tool?

for my experiment i used this metal disc like object about 2-3 inches in diameter and it was almost shaped like a bowl and i used it to pour mouthwash in so that i could easily soak the filter paper in mouthwash. i can't remember what the name of the metal thing was. Please Answer what was the name of the tool i used.

How about just calling it a bowl? There is no need to use specially difficult language, just because you are doing science.
