I have close to 140 snakes, many of which I breed. Here are some:
Burmese, ball, blood, and jungle carpet pythons,Colombian boas of various genetics, other boas such as Hog Island and Dumeril's boas, Honduran and Pueblan milksnakes, corn snakes, various rat snakes, Sonoran gopher snakes, lots of kingsnakes, mainly California kings, eastern and western hognoses, and 6 yellow anacondas.

Corns, kings and milks can all make surprising newbie snakes. i do no longer understand why this style of great form of folk propose ball pythons for beginners, they are no longer too undesirable, yet they are notoriously undesirable eaters, could have humidity subject concerns, and, in my view, they are extraordinarily uninteresting. different stable options could be a rosy boa or sand boa. they are somewhat extra unique, yet they stay extraordinarily small, are relatively elementary to shelter, and often have great personalities.

I have four ball pythons, Isis, Mocha, Arlo, and Percy, a red tailed boa named Calipso, and a chocolate striped morph California King Snake named Anubis. I've also kept some North American Brown snakes and some garter snakes, but I always release them back into the wild after enjoying their company for a few days. I like the brown snakes. I catch one every spring in the same exact spot. Pretty cool.

Just a baby Prairie Kingsnake named Elvis right now.

But have kept Black Rat Snakes (largest was caught at 7' 4") and Garter Snakes I have rescued out of houses for the humane society and released into the wild. Also owned a Ball Python ironically also named Monty, but had to give it away.
