Additional Note: I see many thumbs down to answers. Answers to my question really can not be judged to be a thumbs down. Whoever checked the thumbs down, obviously checked the wrong box.

If your Q/A's go through any server using AT&T, then its true. If you use a web browser such as Firefox, Yahoo, Google it is kept for 18 months.

"The record" is likely of little interest except, as another answerer said, as fodder for a best-seller. The publishing rights would be hell to gather though, unless in the privacy policy, we grant use of our thoughts without copyright. In this age of patriots acting, as opposed the right to dissent, though, boogie man scenarios do flash in my mind when dissenting. To live with such an awareness though, strikes me as a success for the fear factor.

That isn't necessarily true. Yahoo's mainframe could not hold all Those little segments of memory. As they are outdated, those little segments are recoded and recycled back into use, to be used over and over and over again. Just like they can be in your PC if you know how to do it.

Forever is a long long while. Long enough, I suppose, for things to change enough so's the kind of music I'm listening to can be used against me.
