I love the time that Jane Eyre, Pride and Prejudice, etc. I really want to live back then but it's obviously impossible. Is there any thing to make me stop or any place to go that is like that time period?

I absolutely adore Jane Austin and Charlotte Bronte's works! I wish that we could live in that time period today, but unfortunately we can only visit little towns that people have set up to "play out" the period. You can't really stop that want, you can just soothe it and eventually forget it when something else catches your fancy. You could pick up old habits and hobbies from that time period: Play an instrument, learn to sing, crochet, knit, draw....You can make your own bonnets (thought they're out of style), You could take up sewing and make your own 14-15th century dresses (I've learned to crochet, knit, draw and sew) It helps a little and is very occupying.

I hope I helped, sorry that I don't know of any of the little towns or villages you could visit!

Make up a new time period in close relation and create your own characters, or write it out in a journal. That seems to help. You can also start reading books about a differnt time period. A more present story will keep your mind on the present. Try "Twilight" in fact it mentions Pride and Prejudice in the book and many comparisons from reality to it. It's actually a good book to be addicted to.
