if 700 is 5% then 1400 is 10% so multiply 1400 by another ten to get 100%=14000

$14,000. I got is by multiplying 700 x 20. Because you are trying to find out what 100% of the cost was to get 5% to 100 you multiply it by 20 so you multiply 700 by 20 also.

Ok... 700 over x = 5% over 100%. I think that may be the equation. Then do 70,000=5x. 70,000 divided by 5 = 14,000. I think thats the right answer. IDK! Im just doing it the way I was taught.
