I would like to know if you could buy a cell phone and use the tracfone cards to call people? Do you have to buy the tracfone phones they offer?

no. you have to buy a tracfone phone to use the cards. and its a ripoff so dont do it.

i reccomend you get t mobile to go.

$100 = 1000 mins and dey dont expire for a year

If you buy minutes directly from Tracfone they will add the minutes and send you a message that that minutes are added to your phone. If you buy them from Wal-Mart or a online store you will receive a email with the pin number that you will have to add to your phone.

There are more than one "pay in advance" cell phone service now. Try "Net 10" instead, and look around to see if something else works better for you too.

Yes, it all comes in a package. Tracphone is one of those prepaid deals.
