My two ferrets loved the snow, just keep them on leashes, and don't let them out to long. Ours went out a few times a week in the winter for about 5-8 mins at a time, then they came in and we dried them well with towels.

Ferrets can go out in the snow, just not for a huge amount of time. both my ferts love snow but they get way too excited when out. So I bring the snow to them! just dump a lot into the tub in the bathroom and let them play

Ferrets love playing in the snow, they like acting as a toboggan and sliding down hill, or playing at being a snow plough and ploughing through the snow.

My 12 ferrets love snow.

Yes they can and it won't hurt them. Mine love the snow! You can take them outside with a harness and lead or bring the snow inside - I've done both and they enjoy it either way. Make sure you dry them off good when they're all done.

Mine loved the snow but he'd always pull out of his harness, so instead of taking him outside I kept him indoors, took a plastic tub and went and filled the bathtub up with snow that I brought in.

He got to play in the snow till it was all packed down (and his belly was pulled way up to keep away from the cold), and I didn't have to worry about clean up since it all just melted down the drain.
