i have enough money to buy me an ipod but my dad says that he wants to see if he could fix my other one. so yesterday he puts some alcohol on my ipod(the buttons on my ipod was sticky) and he thought that he had fix it but he really didnt. well anyway for christmas i had gotten a lot of money(i saved some from previous b-days) and so i asked my mom if i could buy an ipod because my other one was damage(i told her this before my dad thought he fix my ipod) and she sed yea.....so i went to walmart and i ask my mom if i could go and buy it and she was like your dad wants you to save your money and that he was going to pay for it. So after my dad supposedly not really "fix my ipod" (its still broken) he says well im not gonna buy you another ipod if this one works, and so then i say find then ill buy it myself and then he says no.. I don't understand that either........

Save your money. It will be more useful later than to just get a new ipod because your buttons are sticky.

the touch is nicely worth it because of the fact it has the comparable volume of memory and it has extra advantageous factors. The ipod nano 16GB is $200 however the ipod touch 2G is $230 and it has apps, wifi, dates, calendar, climate, youtube, itunes, and song and extra. The apps even have thousands of loose one's so which you dont could issue approximately procuring them. All you're able to do is make a itunes account and click the "none" for which way your going to pay and this is going to likely be all solid. The touch is nicely worth it in the experience that your going to be enjoying apps each and every as quickly as and a on a similar time as and staring at video clips and listening to song and can experience like countless as quickly as and a on a similar time as going to be on wifi. ipod nano is exactly for song and little video clips basically.

not being mean.. but theyre stingy. they spent lots of money on a ipod and it broke so theyre trying to save up as much money as possible. ok let me tell you a story of mines. i had a ps2 and one day you couldnt see the video part but you could turn it on.. hear the audio... and i ask my dad to get me a new wire which is all i needed and he broke it. and he said he would buy me a ps3!!! im like cool... but he never did and kept on nagging about it so i ended up buying my own 700 dollar ps3

they might be concerned that you didn't take care of the first one. it's not right to let an expensive purchase like an ipod get sticky and broken, and then just replace it because you have the money. that's poor money management, and if you continue like that you won't have money for long. it may seem like you have a lot, but you're not paying for bills yet.
your dad wants to you learn the value of your money, which continues into things you spend your money on. it's not a bad lesson to learn.

omg... my parents always do that to me to!! i dont have the need to spend it i just like being surrounded with nice things... is that so bad??? omg!! lol
well i bought myself a new ipod nan for xmas (its soo cute!! I luv it) and i think its worth it!!!
well this is how i worked my way around it...
tell your parents that you will save 75% of your money after and keep the rest to spend... then that is the best of both worlds!! you buy all your luxuries and still have leftover in the bank!!!
also i got a saturday job that helps!
good luck!
