i was away on holiday over christmas.
i was due to start taking my pill on christmas day but then realised i forgot to bring it with me.
Im just home, so that means ive missed 5 days of pills.
Should i just start taking them from now? or how does it work?

NOOO!!!....depending on what pill pack you have usually they are the 28 day pack...always start on the first sunday after your period even if it is still coming down... i have been on the pill for 4 yrs now and i have always done first sundays after your period...lets say u get it on friday that sunday start it..u can always go to www.thepill.com.... they have good info

No. You will need to restart taking the pills on the first Sunday after you start your cycle. You have missed too many pills to resume taking them. You may have irregular bleeding or spotting from the interruption in your hormones so don't be alarmed. You will need to use a back up form of contraception until you have been back on your pills for 30 days.
You should never double up on more than a couple of pills because it will make you very sick.

Naah- leave it until next month. it's not going to work this month any way so not much point.
