the brown discharge will of been because u either was starting ur period or coming off. its more likely that u was starting it. yes this is normal as long as it doesnt smell theres nothing to worry about. if ur really worried go and talk to ur gp about this he will explain evrything to u....dont worry...all the best for 2008...kizza...xox

first of all happy new year. I answered your previous question about this issue well i can tell you, you have started your period you will find it will perhaps get a little bit heavier ( red blood wise). But congrats you are normal and that is your period

brown (if dark red brown)chunks are probably dried old blood. the output must be increasing because you are seeing red now, which means fresh new blood. You can also have old discharge mixed with blood as well. did you have sex recently? it could be the start or the tail end of things. Or just be decreased this month

color is important. when you mean brown what color brown.

WORSE case can be called amenorrhea.or no menstrual period, but unlikely

this can be many fold. It would not hurt to see your doctor or nurse practitioner. If you really want reassurance.

Severe stress can stop or decrease your "period". Taking contraceptives does this to.

Pregnancy of course will stop your "period". You can also exhibit these symptoms when your pregnant initially and have signs of abortion.

This may just be normal and something transient
