I want to mail a present, but I don't want to put a return address.

Will it still get delivered?

It'll probably be delivered, but if the return address is missing or incorrect, it can't be returned to you if anything goes wrong. Also: military bases and some businesses won't accept anything without a return address.

No. Why would you not put a return address on a present?

In addition to the other comments (as in not advisable because it can't be returned or tracked):
If it weighs more than 13 ounces, you have to take it inside, or it will not be delivered. It is considered a criminal act to mail it outside over 13 ounces and no return address.

Most post offices won't accept a package without a return address. You also have to tell them what it contains (if you don't know they won't take it!)
From the post office site:
1.5.3 Required Use of Return Addresses

The sender's domestic return address must appear legibly on:

a. Mail of any class, when its return and/or an address correction service is requested.

b. Official mail.

c. Mail paid with precanceled stamps.

d. Matter bearing a company permit imprint.

e. Priority Mail.

f. Periodicals in envelopes or wrappers.

g. Package Services (except unendorsed Bound Printed Matter).

h. Registered Mail.

i. Insured mail.

j. Collect on delivery (COD) mail.

k. Certified Mail if a return receipt is requested.

l. Express Mail if a return receipt is requested. The return address on the Express Mail label meets this standard.

You can, but it is not advisable. With all the crazy things going on now, many people won't open them. You also risk not having it returned for any reason of undeliverability.

Yes - a return address has nothing to do with sending something out unless it's going out of the country and you have to fill out a Customs form. Putting a return address on a letter or package is only a courtesy for YOU in case something happens where it can't be delivered for some reason - so they can send it back to you.
