You can't go wrong with Will Smith and I am Legend. I saw it yesterday after reading the book and the movie is much better.
It is a little sci-fi/futuristic with violence (PG-13), so you have to like those type of movies.

if you want a movie that will make you want to say hmmmm, go see National Treasure. You can also see Sweeney todd or the bucket list, but don't see Alien v Predator Requiem. that movie truly sucked.
