Good question....Im 25 married and a mother of 3 but still dont feel grown up...im responsible and act as an adult but still feel young and like a kid so i asked my mother, who is in her mid 60's, when will I feel like Im an adult, and she told me that she doesnt feel like an adult yet...she feels like a kid still inside and thats the way everyone should feel because once you tell yourself your "old" then you start to give up on all the silly happy and amazing moments in life that make the short time we're here worth it....For example, how many "true adults" get dressed up in silly costumes and play make believe with their children? or run outside and dance in the rain? or any other silly little thing like that? Well for my family and I ...we will enjoy all the silly non adult things till our time here on earth is done

I have not come to realize it yet, even though I have major debt, health issues and children. I still look good and I still want to have a good time and I think when I realize it, will the be the day I do not have the strength to get up & go anymore. I am loving life too much rightnow!

There have been levels of adult throughout my life. Each decade (pretty much) has had its priviledges and responsbilites. Now approaching 70 at a downhill run, I don't feel particularly obligated to grow up any more! I can finally relax and laugh at the rat race that once seemed important.

In neuroscience, it is when the prefrontal cortex consists of more white matter (connecting axons) surpasses the grey matter (unprogrammed axons). Neuroplasticity (the abilty to "will" yourself more knowledge or new behaviours) is the basis for all of Christianity. (Be Christ-like, not world-like)
Your brain is a muscle, if you don't use it, you loose it. The longer in life you neglect to learn, your ability to use your mind actually regresses into a child-like state. Selfish, stubborn, needy and unable. The only way someone can grow backwards is by having an another person enable them.
