Have often pondered that myself....& I have no flippin clue & there are soo many repeat questions too. So you could answer the same question everyday over & over.
I dont understand either but I will be watching your answers to see what others say.
Luck to you & I met a love of my life the day she was born!! :)

That is a very good question. I think the reason is because people like to give simple “yes” or “no” answers as opposed to actual intelligent thought-out well written responses. So "Am I fat?" questions can get a yes, no or other simple one-word quick answer for two points and the person moves on. Not really what Yahoo Answers was built for, but – hey – people by majority are idiots, so what can you do. Cheers!

because people want to give quick, easy answers. like "no" or "a little" instead of exciting stories like you asked.

Because some people look forward to insult people and love a good arguement.
If you ask me i would prefer the "where did you meet the love of your life"
Which by the way, was outside school !!!

It's human nature...the same reason that Newspapers print things like "11 people die in truck train crash" instead of "Kitty cat finds new home" It's called the 'Bad News criteria' or "Dirty Laundry" deal.

Some people don't have answers for those questions. Me, for example. I haven't met the love of my life.
