i do you mean gypsies?.... i think they should be left to live and let live, there are some very nice ones.. its the ones that give the others the bad reputation that need to be sorted out.. like all "communities" there is good and bad....
they have the right idea tho... travel round and have no rent or poll tax to pay..... like i said live and let live

Don't know too much about them except that they came from India.
I live part-time in Hungary where there are many Gypsies near our neighborhood. I know that most all of my neighbors don't want them around.There is one Gypsy man who lives in our apt. building. He minds his own business and I get to hear him practice his violin sometimes. He is in a Gypsy band.They usually stay with their own kind. We know a man in las Vegas who used to work with my husband. He is a Gypsy. When we went to Hungary, we stopped by his mom's apt. to say hi to her. She was a lovely older lady who was very clean and happy to see us. I was very sorry to hear that she had died soon afterour visit.

They called Rom or the Romany people. "Gypsies" is a misnomer. People in the Middle Ages thought they were from Egypt, and called them "Egyptians", which was shortened to gypsies.
