Christian Children's Fund...Why don't they ever?

show pictures of children you could sponser right here in the United States? There ARE children here living in terrible conditions and going hungry and without medical care too. In my town (which presents itself as a prosperous town ) over 50% of our school children are living below the poverty line. I'm sure that in other places in the U.S. it's even worse. What gives?

Hi.I'm a born again Christian and i don't donate to that fund for that very reason.We think alike.The only reason that i can think of is that more pockets can be lined before the actual money,about 5cents on the dollar go's to the children. There are crooks in everything including false Christians.

good point...why send aid halfway around the world when you could send it down the street? Christian Children's Fund probably does that to remove their donors from the situation because only something like 7% of every dollar actually goes to aid those children...
