Never take more than 2 mg of copper and it needs to be taken with 15 mg zinc, 50 mcg selenium and vitamin E. You can take a LITTLE more zinc and selenium but you have to consider that you are getting some in your daily diet.
biotin, pantothenic acid and choline are also good for hair.
You have to be really careful to not get too much minerals they can be toxic to your system.

copper is important for many things, but too much is not good for the kidneys..best taken with zinc ie: 25 mg zinc 2.5mg copper. balance with the two is important

copper is a mineral, and Joel Wallach says it is needed for the manufacture of a co-factor of hair color. I took some for awhile, and didn't see any difference. One source told me it was possible to get too much and have bad results.

i take blackstrap molasses for my hair and general health, its supposed to restore colour to greying hair and is apparently one of the best sources of copper.
