In this area Verizon is better than any other service. Before this, we had Sprint, and it nothing but sucked! Their rates were higher, constant "Dead Zones" throughout Tennessee, so I got fed up with it, canceled the contract which sacrificed my deposit, but I've saved in the long run.
I know nothing about AT&T's service, but as a matter of principle I won't do buisness with them ever again. I used that 1-800-CALLATT feature they used to constantly advertise while I was in the hospital a couple of years back to call my wife and family collect from my hospital room. Well, when the charges showed up on my phone bill, and I paid them as I normally pay my monthly phone bill, they tried to claim I still owe them, turned me over to a collection agency, harrassed the hell out of me with almost daily phone calls, and then a collection action showed up on my credit report.
Eventually, I got the matter cleared up, but based upon that experience, I'll NEVER go with AT&T over anything.
I'm very happy with Verizon and won't be changing!

I had Verizon for the last 2 years and hated it. I switched back to AT&T when the contract expired. And Verizon tried to extend my contract with no authorization from me to do so. We had to threaten law suit to get out of that and they have already been in trouble for doing the same thing to other people. BEWARE VERIZON!!!!!

We like Verizon and have been with them for years. It all depends on your specific needs.

No-AT&T hast he better customer service. Make sure you get the insurance with your phone plan. It's only a few dollars more a month. It helps if you lose your phone or something happens to it.
