I think that most stores, beer and otherwise, will be closed tomorrow just because it's one of the few national holidays that is commonly honored by retailers. Just about every store in town was closed on Christmas Day and there were only a few convenience stores open in case you needed, say, some milk.
But I don't think they were allowed to sell liquor. Every state makes their own laws on the issue but I don't think they'll sell liquor (in the bottle) to anyone after midnight tonight, have to wait until Wednesday, so stock up today to be on the safe side.

Get a piece of paper and pencil and write down how you will drink that beer. Keep note of when you'll be opening up the beer and how many you can drink before the day is done.

Well you can come around to mine if you get unstuck. I'm sure most beer stores will be open though.

New Year's Day is a federal holiday, so no banks, no post office, no government offices will be open.
However, for beer stores, it's Tuesday.
