You were meant to be alone?

I've always felt that...

I felt that way for a few years in between being jolted in a few relationships. I was made to feel I was in love with a cold fish--she was about as passionate as a hallibut. Last April, I met a very special woman who melted my heart and taught me to love again. Since that time, I feel as though I have regressed in age, I have renewed energy, and a passion that burns once again. We should never be made to feel that we are meant to be alone. That isn't the case at all. I believe that there is a person for everyone in this world. Love is too precious to limit or to suppress. You will find that special person that will change your range of thought and who will inspire you never to be alone again.

Like your lacking your other half? The one that completes you and you complete them? Yes.

I have gotten that feeling a lot in my life. Lately I have felt more alone than ever, and I can assure you it's not natural. There is a difference of course, between healthy solitude and real loneliness. We all need good companionship, but it's that word "good" which seems to be the problem. :)
