Our experiment was "Does Audio or Visual Studying Help You Remember Best?" and at the end of our study, we found out that visual studying provided better results. We were wondering why this was.

We are creatures of habit. If we closed our eyes and just listened once in a while, you would be surprised how much you can hear and how much you can learn. It is sad that we always tend to rely on what is easiest.

Just as it states VISUAL. When you look at any thing,not only words,it sticks in your brain better. The more you write the words the better it is retained also.

Depends upon the audio voice and its tone, and the writing style. Mariella Frostrup has the most throaty tabacco addict voice, Jeremy Paxman and Angus Dayton have wonderful voices and delivery styles.

Well as the theory argues, people are divided into 3 different types of learners: Auditory, Visual and kinesthetics learners. I guess you are a visual learner, or whoever was examined is.

Comes down to the cross pollination effect of learning, the more senses that you get involved with learning the more likely you will sort it and prioritize it for retention. This is even more true for men than women.
