probably from the paints. put a couple of bowls of vinegar or baking powder in the room. they will absorb the odor--not mask it.

Try sprinkling baking soda all over the carpet, waiting a few hours, and then vacuuming it up.
Even though it's winter (I'm assuming you're in the US) open your windows for about an hour every day. Cleaning out the air in a room is essential for healthy living. If the air in your room gets stagnant, burning candles will only seal the odors in your walls.
Wash all surfaces with vinegar.
Good luck!

Check your sneakers. No kidding, the cheaper the shoes, the stinkier they are. I literally sniffed my way around my house. It smelled worse than a dead mouse. I wound up throwing them out. Another this is if you have carpet. You might have to pull up the carpet and the matting beneath it. Steam clean the carpet first though, see if it helps. Good luck. Use clothespins on your nose. LOL. Kidding

It could be ur art supplies and/or paintings. i think it would b more of ur art supplies than ur paintings. Try air fresheners. I hope this helps and i hope u find the right answer. GOOD LUCK!!!

You can rent a heavy duty ionizer from a local rent all shop. They use these to clean the odors out of houses before selling them.

Could be that try taking them out and using a air freshener like oust airing your room out then replacing the art to see if the smell comes back using process of elimination.

Do you have carpet? If you do, sprinkle with baking soda, let it sit for at least 30 mins. then vacuum it up. After that, steam clean it. Also, open the window for a few hours a day to air it out.

Maybe one of the paints went bad? Maybe you have a dead mouse in the wall?
