Does that mean at 34 I've hit middle age? The 17 year old boy next door has been left alone by his family and has been having major parties, keeping us awake!

Wow that is another deep on Skycat!! I think it is is all of those things. Sometimes you can make a choice but then, chance or fate, takes over. You can achieve it, and it is best not to wait forever...although, good things come to those who wait!! What a tangled web we weave!!! Ah life!

Destiny,(where we will be or what we will do) if not a matter of chance, or determinism (laws of cause and effect that determines our decisions), then is a choice.
If choice is not determined by cause and effect laws that determine exactly what our "choices" will be then they are determined by something other than cause. They are determi9ned by randomness.
Randomness is something neither to be sought or resisted. It's random. You never know what you're going to get.
Unless you believe that what you get (life) in all it's possible outcome tottals a more positive chance (as though playing roulette) or a negative chance.
This is further paradoxed by the fact that if you "choose" to seek or resist then you are iether not really choosing because its predetermined or because it is random (out of your control."

b cool and watch what you wish for(choice)- (in destiny)it just might come true(sugar coated).
Once achieved it may not b so easy to get rid of.
