Something that gets you happy AND a lot of money. People claim not being materialistic but let's face facts: if you are broke, you feel like sh*t. Get paid for what you enjoy. I'm not too much into philantropism because an adept cynic, so I couldn't care less how the job affects people's lives. As long as it's good for mine.
So I don't recommend being a doctor. That [to me] is the worst job in the world.

My job involves me doing something I actually started doing in my spare time for fun. It's the best I could hope for, making good money out of something I enjoy doing.

I think I understand your question. For my life it would be an in home daycare and preschool. This way I can be a stay at home mom, which I want to be, and still earn $. I don't want to come home from a 9 hour day stressed and have to cook dinner, help with homework, bathe kids, go to bed and do it again. This is what I do and I love it but just thinking further....If I could be a novelist, no kids all day til mine come home from school, just be here in my own world. I'd probably enjoy my own kids more that way too. hmmmm.
