you haven't indicated if this is for groceries & groceries alone??
As for groceries this depends on whether you are a male or female, your weight, appetite, what your eating preferences are...IE; meat , veggies, fruit , etc.?? ??
As a rule, males have a larger appetite & those weighing more also need more to eat.
If you are a female, I would think that $50. would be more than enough for weekly groceries.

It depends where you shop and what you buy. If you go to a low-cost store and buy no frills brands or fresh ingredients it could be £20, for a higher cost store and perhaps branded items, or ready meals £30-£35. Try planning meals in advance and buying dried foods like pasta and noodles that are cheap and last longer. (That is, if you're budgeting!)
