i watch the news a lot here in iraq and americans on news and internet they say america is teh bad guy or enemy. In fact they've helped here in Iraq and the troops have been great. Why would Americans not support their own country like I have been doing from Iraq

I love my country, I wouldn't want to be anywhere else. That doesn't mean that I agree with our government. Now that said...... your question is stupid.... and don't beleive what you watch on tv......

I'm American and a veteran, and I certainly don't hate my country. I put my butt on the line for this country like many others.
However, I can assure you that I do not have the slightest love for the current administration. They are some of the worst criminal liars we've ever had, not to mention the worst record of administration. They are a complete failure with the exception of one act: invading Afghanistan. After that? Feh.

I disagree with the premise of this question. Someone disagreeing with the Iraq war or the Bush admin does not equate to hating their country.
The accusation implies that those who disagree with the war also wish harm on Americans. Please take into consideration the 1990s when Clinton and his policies were spoken against, no one accused those who disagreed with Clinton of hating the country.

i love my country, i despise the government that is currently running it into the ground. we should have never went to iraq. we had/have no business there. its not our job to police the world.

I don't hate America but I am disgusted with the way the current administration runs it.
If you support America and are in Iraq, good for you. The majority of people I know who have served in Iraq feel different than you do. Most are appalled at the quagmire that has been created in Iraq.
