I aspire on living in Connecticut after highschool with a friend. I currently live in Miami but I really feel out of my element here, knowing english and such. No offense to anybody of course. What are some reccomended places to live, colleges, and etc. I want to live somewhere, where my friend and I can split the rent, be able to go to New York, and live in a good neighborhood. Thanks in advance.

Stamford is a very nice town that is about an hour drive into NYC and also has a Metro (train) that rolls through once an hour or so to go to Grand Central Station in Manhattan. I would highly recommend Stamford :-)

I at the instant stay in West Hartford, which I actual love and DO pay decrease than $one thousand for hire. i've got been in CT for 10 years and W. Hartford for 8. i'm in a miles extra culturally distinctive element of city than in case you have been closer to the middle, this is why the hire is decrease. some might evaluate it not the main secure section, yet i for my section like it. in case you pass some a million/2 hour out of this section, to a place like New Hartford you may discover extra low priced rents and extra of a rural/suburban life-type. in case you head out in the direction of the Northeast corner (the "Quiet corner") you will come across one among those cities that furnish a quiet life-type (commence with the Putnam section and paintings around that, possibly).

Just take a ride up I-95, Thru Greenwich, Stamford, Fairfield, as far as you want to go. Many people work in NYC and commute. Some of these are really nice old towns with New England architecture. I just moved to Orlando from NYC, and actually I find it all sort of revolting.
