Meade, Celestron, Nikon, Oberwerk, and Orion, among others, have good binoculars for astronomy. The upper-end porro-prism bins from Fujinon and Nikon are some of the very best, but pricey.
I'm not familiar with Saxon, but I see some of their models feature ruby coating. You should avoid that for astronomy as it will considerably reduce the amount of starlight reaching your eye.

I've never heard of Saxon. My recommendations would be Orion, Celestron, Vixen, Nikon.

Orion is another good brand.
I also recommend a tripod---you can get an adapter for a standard camera tripod.

For the price of a good pair of binoculars, you can buy a good telescope and see the stars in much greater detail...If you just want binoc's tho, I have a set of SICO's that are antique but are of EXCELLENT QUALITY, and a set made by Jason, which work very well. If you can afford it, get something with German optics. While the Japanese have come a long way, their optics are still inferior.

With my 9x30 Tasco binoculars, I can see the gas clouds of Orion. For higher powers, you may want to invest in a tripod. Brand does not matter.

10 X 50 is great but you should use them on a tripod if you don't have a steady hand. The brand is not an important factor.
