Rare and Endangered Plant
Dracaena draco also known as the dragon tree
European legends as “the blood of dragons”, and was often used for its supposed magical and medicinal qualities. This resin is still used today to produce incense and varnishes used to stain and polish wood.

*Dracaena* is the main family from which Dragon's blood comes, although there are three other plant families often used. It is not toxic and has no intoxicating effects, however Dragon's Blood from the Daemonorops family is an anti-coagulant whereas from the other families it is usually a coagulant.
