I'm thinking of getting a Mac or Macbook for when I start University. I know Apple have different prices for Macs/Macbooks etc if you are in education/at University. However, is there actually a major difference in price than if I was to buy one normally and if so, how much is the difference typically?

Go to the apple website and click Education section. I am purchased an iMac with the education program and saved a couple hundred bucks--got a free printer--and a free ipod nano. Usually if you wait until the summer or toward the end of the school year and they start running "deals" for students.

You will get a $100 discount on a MacBook and a $200 discount on a MacBook Pro. You seem like you might be in a different country than USA, so for the most accurate info, go to store.apple.com and click on the Education link.
