i would have to go with Slash from Guns N Roses. i love the way he handles the guitar and just the sounds that come from it. i love guns n roses despite their fued with axle. but yeah, thats my opinion.

Impossible to really say because there are differences in playing styles - who is better - a classical guitar player or a rock guitar player? They could both be great and not even close to being the same.
