I certainly am. A stunning group of four countries, a history that spans millennia and a language that is one of the most spoken in the world - all from a tiny country whose people talk about the weather all the time. You can't get better.

I'm proud to be Scottish because of all the accomplishments of my fellow Scots. I admire Scottish women for their outspokeness.
I'm ashamed to be an American-yep, I emigrated with my hubby--because of all the calculated evil done by this country in the name of greed. I am, however, proud of how most American men treat women with respect, and, unlike older Scotsmen, help with the housework. Yep-I divorced the Scot and married an American.
I'd be even more ashamed to be Russian or Slavic because of their support of brutal regimes, whether in the name of communism or Catholicism, and because of the way they still treat women. Even their male immigrants to the UK and the US still treat women like dirt.
