I ran WOW for over a year with one gig of RAM. However I have to agree 2 is better.

I don't think you are going to be able to Max out the video settings, but I see no reason that it won't run well enough for you to enjoy the game. That is what is important anyway. Just let Wow determine your video setting for you and you should be fine.

Yeah youll definetly be fine. An upgrade in Ram would be nice, but not neccesary in order to play this game

Hi. Having 1GB in dual mode is pretty quick. This means 2x 512MB. You would have to replace both with 1GB to keep running in dual mode. Maybe a tiny improvement.

Will this computer run World of Warcraft WELL?

I'm assuming you're running Vista. In that case you probably want more RAM to do anything more than running one window of internet explorer with one tab in it. This isn't a big deal, your RAM is very very very cheap right now. That said, WoW has very low system requirements. WoW's system reqs are lower than Vista's. You should get more RAM, but you're good to go.

Your video card could be better, but it probably won't be the choke point.

This will run wow great, yes upgrading the ram is always a good thing, if you can go to 2gigs of dual channel that would be great, but as it stands this machine will have no problems with wow whatsoever

Having 2 gb of ram would be nice, especially if you're running Vista. You could upgrade that pretty cheap.

Your video card is pretty entry-level, and you could benefit from an upgrade there. The Radeon HD 3850 can be found for about 180 bucks at Newegg.com.

With those two upgrades, you'd easily be running WOW at the highest graphic settings with no problem at all.

Edit: If you have XP, 2gb would be nice but not necessary. If you go to Vista, you should consider 2gb to be theminimum amount.
