I am 2 days shy of 37 weeks......and the "more beautiful when you are pregnant" saying makes me giggle...
-Puffy Face
-Swollen Hands - can't wear my wedding rings :(
-Swollen Feet
-Swollen Ankles
-Big Baby Belly In The Way
Don't get me wrong I have been extremely Blessed with being super healthy throughout this pregnancy (So I am not allowed to fuss too much! haha)But Yeah,,,when you are 20 weeks and start to get the cute baby bump and you can start wearing fun form fitting maternity clothes it is beautiful, cute and fun.... But then you get to the last trimester and you just feel like a cow! The only thing I see beautiful about being pregnant is the precious baby you receive at the end! LOL-I just had to vent! I feel really good physically right now so I am thinking labor is not around the corner any time soon,I just get fussy and uncomfortable at night. Anyone else feeling the same way right now? Happy New Years Everyone! And pretty soon we'll get to meet our littleone!

I don't know who said it, but I never felt that way. I had been pregnant 5 times and didn't enjoy one bit all of the "stuff" that goes with it. The growing belly, the swollen feet, the backaches, the cramping in abdomen, etc, etc. BUT totally enjoy the outcome------A beautiful, healthy baby. And if this is your first, and you think that stuff was bad, wait for LABOR! My latest one if now 5 months old, and I get fussy and uncomfortable at night, mostly because i don't sleep well. You also have that to look forward to. Anyhow, Congratulations and Good Luck! Also, Happy New Year to you too!!

Have you read "Belly Laughs" by Jenny McCarthy? It is hysterical and will help you know you're not alone!

Oh I can totally relate and I'm only at 17 weeks. Right now I'm rocking the "is that a beer gut or a baby belly?" I'm losing my chin, my a.s.s. is growing at about the same rate as my belly and I officially have "cankles." Haha. I feel just like you though. I'm extremely grateful to have had a healthy pregnancy thus far. I'm wishin you all the best!

Haha AMEN I know just how you feel! I feel gross every day I think. I'm 37 weeks, 1 day and I just feel FAT. But the end is near! Also, I am going through a phase this past week where my skin and hair is getting bad again. I went through that in early pregnancy then it got way better for a long time and now it's back. Bummer =0(

Congrats!
Yeah- men don't understand the pain we suffer while pregnant. It's easy to say we look beautiful. We're putting a big smile on and suffering the swollen feet, headaches, mood swings and so on. I agree- carrying a child is an amazing experience. I have gone through it only once but we want another. I hope you're bundle of joy comes soon!
Happy New Year!

I'm not as far along as you are - I'm still in that "beautiful" stage (15 weeks with my second). But I can relate with you as I had my first on the 11th of Jan. I felt so huge all the way through the holiday season. And I now hate looking at those Christmas pict - cuz I was so puffy and swollen. But your almost done and your absolutely right about the beauty being the precious baby. It really is amazing just what you have grown and created. Best of Luck and keep your chin up. You'll get to hold that little bundle before you know it.
