Do you ever wonder what would've happened if you said yes?
And do you regret your decision to say no?
I was proposed to a few years ago; i said no. He is now married to someone else. I can't say i really regret it though, all things considered. My life stinks super bad presently, but i think that even though i know i would've been okay as per some things had i said yes, both he and i probably would've been unhappy. Or atleast i would've been. And why marry someone you don't love, right? That's not fair to them or you. So, i really don't regret it. Does that sound awful?
So, were you ever proposed to? And did you say no? And what were your reasons?

yes... repeatedly by my son's father... and I repeatedly told his @ss no. Do I regret it.. not at all.. I have more to show for the 14 yrs I've known him than he has for the 40+ years he has been on this earth. He's good for 2 things... maybe 3... pretty babies... great sex... and making AWESOME steak..lol
I was asked by another person that is still in my life... that tells me all the time he won't stop asking until I say yes... I think eventually I will...

It just didn't feel right, why some men always way the last minute to propose. When he finally realized that he lost you, that's when he decides to make a move.
"You never miss it,'til it's gone"

Yes, I turned one down, and I never regretted it. I just didn't love him. I then went on to propose to someone myself, marry him, then divorce him 4 years later. Maybe he should have said no to me?

I turned one down when I was really young. Father of my daughter. He couldn't even take the baby home to his parents because she was black so why would I want to marry someone like that?

The last time I was proposed to, I started dry heaving. I don't think that is the answer he wanted. He was a great guy, smart, fun and rich. But I don't want to get married. We have been split up almost 2 yrs now and the guys I work with still rag me and tell me I should have took him up on it. Wouldn't have to work, could live in a nice big house, buy pretty much anything I wanted.
But I didn't love him and it wouldn't be fair to him or me.

This guy I was dating (and in love with at the time) I knew was going to but I broke up with him because he was way too immature and not good with money. It ended up for the better really as far as I'm concerned because the man I married is a lot more reliable. : ) It turned out to be a better decision than I realized at the time.
