There's this guy from my work that I like. We met months ago on a work get together but work in diff. states. We talk now and again by phone and have even got together once (kissed)..we like each other & he told me that. Also he has now called me and wants to come see me soon. I asked him what he was up to for the weekend and he told me that he had invited a girl to his house to work on a project with him. I asked him if this was a girlfriend and he said no it is a friend. His voice didn't hint of any feelings for her. Do you think he likes her as more than a friend? I mean, why would he call me & say he's coming to visit if he's into another girl? He does like travelling though and would love to see my city. Am I worrying unecessarily?

Long distant relationships are very difficult to read. This guy may be different, but many times, guys will do what they can get away with. Since you are not around him in his real world, you don't know what's going on. He could be living with that "friend" for all you know! They could have 5 children together - for all you know! If you want to take the risk of getting involved with someone who is practically a perfect stranger, that's your call, but I'd try to find out alot more from mutual friends and acquaintances before going too much further. Once again, he may be different, but please don't be careless.
Good luck!

/ Hey, YOU'RE THE ONE FOR HIM!!! (duh!)

He has a friend who happens to be a girl, so what? He also has a friend who happens to be a guy - so what!

Friends are friends (girls, guys), but YOU, YOU'RE the one for him!

You need to talk to him about your friendship and whether it has a chance to lead into a romantic relationship. If he is not your steady boyfriend, he can see another woman. If this bothers you, you should be talking to him about how you feel about him and finding out how he feels about you. Communication is the key. Call him and talk to him about the 2 of you. Tell him how you feel about another woman being alone with him. Establish an understanding with him that you both agree on regarding your relationship together, that way there will be no misunderstandings in the future. Set up boundaries that you both feel comfortable with as far as other people of the opposite sex are concerned. This will solve your problem.
