was he wearing a jointed fingerlength talon ring and in desperate need of clearasil and shampoo? if so, then yes. otherwise, he could just be into ugly coats and hats.
edit: black tennis shoes? then hell yea, you know he was on his way to the comic shop to get some new dice and pewter figurines.

Being a furry doesn't exclude also being a D&D guy, though.
Happily not all D&D guys dress like idiots. My husband is one, and the worst he ever dresses is when he wears tube socks with shorts, but that's only when he goes to the gym.

Totally a D&D guy. Probably lives in his mom's basement and was on his way to a night of intensive gaming. Sadly, he probably dresses like that all the time because he can't differentiate real life from fantasy and probably thinks he can dish out spells.

Saw D&D and immediately thought "Dogma and Doctrine". I think this just might be the one question I can't work that into.
Knew what you meant after reading the whole Q. My ex used to be into D&D, and he dressed awfully strangely too. Based on experience only, you might have asked if he had ever kept a job for more than 6 months, if "clean clothes" meant the ones that didn't smell 'too much' like weed, or if he had ever acted like one of his Characters in an attempt to pick up women. But, like I said, that's just based on one experience.
