Does anyone have Google Earth installed on their computer? Does it work well? Is it worth it to download just for fun?

Windows Live Local works far better and does not require a download (it's web-based).

Free from Microsoft:

Enjoy!

Ehm..
Google Earth lets you view Earth from all angles thanks to a combination of satellite photos and aerial images.

It's amazing.

Google Earth is SOOOOOOO much fun!

My favorite thing to do is to look at Disney World from a bird's eye view. It is definitely worth it to download - because it is free!!

Check out the Disney images below - and there is also a link there to get you setup with Google Earth.

Have fun and Happy New Year!

depends on your idea of fun really lol.

I had it on my other pc but uninstalled it cos it's basically pointless. All it really is, is Google maps with the ability to zoom furthur out and see the earth spinning on it's axis.

Pretty pointless really. But it is fun for the 5 minutes of finding someones house just cos you can
