2.19 am here in Queensland, and my 2 yr old daughter had a fever about an hour ago of 40 C (104 F).
Do you think this is a bad sign for 2008?
(Oh btw her temp has gone down now )

Nah, her high fever just means her body is fighting infection...maybe it's a sign that 2008 will be a year of strength for her.

Not a bad sign. She's just getting it out of the way now so you can both enjoy the rest of the year. Hope she feels better soon and I'm glad her temp has come down. Happy New Year to both of you!

And of course it's not a bad omen, just means she's sick right now, haha. :)
I do hope she gets better soon though, that's an awfully high temperature D:
Also, did you notice the sky at exactly midnight?
it was a weird orange colour. o.o
