My new boyfriend parties in Italy, my old friends party on their own, my university mates went home for holidays, none of my so called "friends" have even bodered to see how i'm doing.. Is it only happening to me or the people u care the most just stab you in the back? Well what goes around comes around...
I guess this gives me a new goal for 2008 -make new friends!

hey, don't get me wrong, i'm not complaning, even if it sounds i do! And do u go somewhere not invited? Not in my character... I'll enjoy the evening wathcing a good movie, write my list of "goals for 2008" and sleep like a baby, i need it anyway! Enjoy it for me! ;)

Quit feeling sorry for yourself!
You know why everyone else is out partying and having fun? Because they chose to do so.
So if you feel everyone around you has a responsibility to ensure you're included in the festivities, that's probably why you weren't invited to hang out with them.

I wish I had kept a journal throughout my life. You forget so much as time passes. I had a friend that lost her long time husband and she wrote a book about their travel all over Europe. It was cathartic for her and interesting for me. She turned out to be quite a writer and got her book bound and gave it to her children as a rembrance of their father. Your inner most thoughts as you grow and mature will be very interesting when you are older and a guide as to how you got to be exactly who you are. You just learned a valuable lesson. I went through that when I got hurt and couldn't work and was really low and cash and the ability to go. I found out who my good friends were when they stuck around and offered help. The rest took off and good riddance. If you're sitting home, make use of the time and make some future plans for yourself--where are you headed and where do you want to end up and how are you going to get there. You'll find that people come to you if you're going places but you will be a much better judge of who is just along for the ride. Happy New Year!

why stay home, when you the world at your feet. your young, have nothing to lose. just be carefull. have fun. go out tonight you just might find something knew in your life, that you've been missing or never had.

I don't know how your friends are stabbing you in your back but they are maybe a tiny bit selfish for not seeing about you but YOU have to make and determine your own happiness
I'll be toasting in the New Year alone but I refuse to let that get me down because I determine my happiness
