how could they change KITT to a mustang?
why am I so upset about the Knight Rider car being changed? OK upset may be a bit strong but come on, a mustang??? no trans Am??

I personally love mustangs......look at my multiply page mine is posted in there. shes beautiful!!!!! But I agree KITT is a TA.

Why you're so upset - for the same reason original Trek fans were half shocked when they first saw the Enterprise D in Next Generation, or the new Battlestar Galactica (okay, they were happy about that), or when Teal'c grew hair on Stargate SG-1 - change is difficult to accept.

I'm with you on this! I'm just not going to be able to relate to KITT being a Mustang. I guess it won't matter to the people who aren't familiar with the original series....but for us oldtimers, it's gonna be a little hard to swallow! lol.
