Did some catching up with my cousin over the holidays with her new set of twins, only to find out that she is in an abusive relationship with the babies' father. Not only are they physically fighting each other, he is biting her!

I can't remember if I've read somewhere or heard someone mention this, but is it true that in an abusive relationship, if the male begins to bite, he will likely end up killing her? The biting comes from a canine instinct in some males to bite or kill in anger?

I've entered various forms of my question on Google, but I'm in a loop and the information presented is not answering my question. Does anyone have a site link that they can forward to help save my cousin from this relationship?

So not only are the babies teething........

Maybe contact a women's shelter and get some information from them. And also a # near your cousin in case she needs to flee.

Serial killers have been known to torture and kill animals. Not sure about biting though.

Any form of physical abuse can get out of hand. Biting is done WITH the malicious intent to hurt someone. Does he bite his enemies? No, he wold hit them. biting is dangerous. She needs to get out!

Men do not have a "canine" instinct. When people call men dogs is an expression not a medical thing.

Any physical violence is dangerous and can escalate. This is a dangerous situation you cousin is in and she should seek help.

I think that any form of physical abuse can end in death. Not always and sometimes it can be an "accident"... such as someone pushed the other person down and they hit their head - it ends up killing them.

She needs to leave period. Biting or not - she should not put her and her kids in danger by staying. He sounds pretty damn psycho to me...

Biting leads to bacterial infections and sometimes they can kill you. What they kid needs is an environment free of asshole parents. Well, to more precise the parents need to get their s.hit together (which will MOST likely not happen). To bad, but this is what is wrong with most kids, i.e. dumbass parent.s

I don't know that I have ever heard that. In my opinion anytime someone is getting that physically violent with another person then you run the risk of them killing that person.

I don't know if it does or not but you gotta help her get out of there. She doesn't deserve to be abuised at all. Help her get out.

It certainly can't lead to anything good! If he's really biting her, he's a wack-job, and should be locked up.

It doesn't matter if he's biting, hitting, kicking, or punching her, she needs out. He could kill her no matter what he does to her. Encourage her to get help.
