I really dont understand this and wondered if anyone can help in anyway
im the nice guy out of a group of friends im the one that if you run into us on a night out either I will be the peace maker if a fight breaks out or im the one who if we run into some ladies and they are completely drunk then I hope they get home safe even if I have to see them home after chatting all night lol
yet the guys who I thought were my mates have been really quiet and I havent heared from them or seen them in a few months and although I was going to ring up and say hey hows it going I found out by chance (by walking past a couple of them and saying hi before I entered a class at uni that they were talking about the five a side team we played in) so it hurt in a way because ive always been good to these lads and it felt like they basically ended one team to set up another without me and ive always given lifts home if its on my way or close by - yet everyone has gone silent on me - so I decided ...

... this christmas to see who woudl send me a happy xmas text - usually I always send them out and in a way to my horror but also basing it since september I wasnt surprised I only got 2 texts which hurt to some degree but then I was like ah f*** them
normally im quiet and not a loud mouth but if im drunk I become more gobby at times and generally become a bit louder but not attention seeking loud
and when playing sports im really aggressive as I hate loosing but bar that im quiet in nature
so I dont understand why they have abandonded me in effect?

As much as it hurts it happens. There are so many people out there that we think are good to us and they are not.
Sounds like you were always giving to these guys and they were always taking. Although it hurts, you need to move on and just learn from this.
Some people do not deserve our trust and they get it anyways, and then they hurt us! Sorry this happened to you but remember ... YOU are the good person here, not them!

You sound like a really nice, sensitive guy,,, maybe too nice and you are showing your friends up for what they really are and they don't like it. They are extremely shallow!!!! If you feel you need to find out why they are avoiding you then single out one of them alone. Don't go to the whole group together because chances are, you will get laughed at or brushed aside. Get one of them on his own and ask him directly!!! Open questions are best cos that way they need to give full answers and not just a "yes" or "no" answer. Good luck xxx
