I've been in or through Iowa a few times. During my first visit, I was able to narrow my list of states I might want to spend the rest of my life in down to 49.

On the other hand, everyone I know who is from Iowa seems to think it is the greatest place on Earth, much like people from Atlanta. So there must be something good about living there.

I live in Iowa and I love it! What they don't show on tv is all the great schools and the great diversity that we all have.. there are only a hand full of those old farmers who haven't seen the world of today and would much rather live in the 18th century. as for the rest of us we are just like the rest of the U.S. We love sushi, the Internet and buying great clothes!
