I for one do. I've already started with light bulbs and I've bought those bags they have in stores that you can use over and over. What are you doing?

I unplug the appliances that I'm not using, they still suck up energy even if they're not turned on. I use the energy star light bulbs. I recycle everything that my city picks up and the plastics that my city won't take I bag up and take to my mother's house to put in her bin. I try to buy environmentally safe cleaning products whenever possible. If you haven't seen them, check out 7th Generation products. They're great. I also buy organic foods, from fruits & veggies to pasta.

I've bought 80 pounds of Guacamole and I'm gonna stew it up into a nice paint and make my whole cardboard house green.....I think it might even have superior insulating powers.

Also I'll rent all of Shreks movies and watch them daily ... and lastly I'll walk around town watching for others green levels dressed as HULK and I will Hulk out on offenders ......

...'member Hulk can jump really far..... so beware!

Let me tell you the true cost of "going green."

First of all, it is nice to take care of the earth we have been entrusted with. A worthy goal.

But humans are not the cause of "global warming." The earth operates in cycles, and this is a warming cycle.

But in response to a natural phenomena, politicians, and pseudo-scientists have jumped on board the "control the people" wagon.

So-called "bio-fuels" have stripped the world of food, sending it to processing plants that produce a low-energy fuel that takes twice as much to do the same job as fossil-fuels (which aren't really produced by anything that ever lived!) and which use far more energy than they produce. Then, the price of corn and now wheat have doubled and will continue to increase. People will starve in third-world countries because of this boon-doggle.

Change your light bulbs, be responsible, but don't fall for the political correct crowd. Do your part, but don't fall for the fantasy. A lot of people are being hurt over this, and a lot more will be if the communist-controlled UN gets involved because Congress turns over our sovereignty to them.

My husband and I have always been 'green' in many ways ... we don't own a car, take the bus virtually everywhere or walk, and use a cab to get our groceries home once every two weeks. We have many more of the new 'low energy' light bulbs than most households. This next year, we are going to make the switch to 'reusable bags' and doing a much finer recycling than before ... and may even move the fish tanks so they can get 'daylight' during the day, instead of 'electric light' ... and that is being extremely committed. Have you any idea how much a full 45 gallon tank is, and how difficult it is to move one when the 'fish' in that tank are from 3-1/2 to 8 inches in length?

I've been green for 10 years now.

It's not a new concept and it's about time more people started.

Just the opposite. I usually smoke green but will give up in the new year. No more green for me.
