On March 16, 2007 I was raped and I am not sure if my companion for 5 years is the father of my 3 week old baby girl
I find out I'm preg on June 29 (at this point I am about 4 months pregnant according to doctor ~ I had no symptoms of pregnancy before this point) my doctor gave me the orig due date of Dec 3 and later changed it to Dec 7 ~ my daughter was born on Dec 6. I never saw my rapist face and can't really tell if my daughter looks like her "father" ~ If I do the calculations I believe my boyfriend is the dad because I don't remember having my period around my birthday as I ALWAYS have (B-day is March 14) I usually have my period on my b-day or 1-2 days after. I believe I concieved before I was raped. Because I couldn't remember my last period my doctor had to determine when I got my ultrasound at 17 weeks what my due date
I am going to get a DNA test but I just want to know others opinion
Who do you think could be the father?

I'm sorry to say that there really isn't a way to tell until you've had the DNA test.

I'm very sorry for the trauma you went through, and I hope for you and your boyfriends sake that it is his. I am very glad to know he stuck by your side through thick and thin, sounds like a keeper! ;) I don't think theirs much else you can do until the DNA test but if you think deep down in your heart that it is your boyfriends then it probably will be, and if she isn't she will still be your boyfriends as long as he wants to be daddy.

Sounds like your companion is. The times just add up this way I am sorry that this has happend to you. Have you thought of a blood test to be sure? But the bad thing happend in March if you became with child then, the baby should have been born in november. GOOD LUCK and wish you well happy new year!!!

I would like you to think of this from the child's perspective. Your daughter should be loved unconditionally. It serves no purpose to let her know she was the result of a rape (if she was). You & your boyfriend are her parents. She is born into your life as a gift for you to cherish.
Forget the DNA tests. Love the child.

That is difficult I would say it wait for the DNA test. That should help you match the person.

From the dates it sounds like it is your boyfriends child. One of my friends was raped and it turned out to be the rapists child but she raised that little girl and loved her so much. You may have some choices to make when you get the DNA tests back but you do have a wonderful child to love.
