I decided to come to work today, and am now sorely regretting my decision. I keep forgetting about these 1 o'clock games.

1) The Thrashers spanked Boston 5-0 on Saturday. Do assume that tonight will be a repeat?

2) Do you eat or drink anything differently during day games compared to night games?

3) What do you do during the lull between day games and night games?

Hello SensHock! You are typing chipper this morning. Do you guys have Quiznos in Canada? Every since they have been around, I stop going to Subway. Mmmm toasty

Joe: Tacos AND Ribs. Barbeque AND Mexican. Strange combination, pumpkin.

Cme: I have only seen Boston play a couple of times this year. How can you eat or drink Y!A?

Peter: My fellow worker bee. Yeah, I am not feeling it, I think I am going to close the office early today. Not only that, all of these answers are making me hungry.

Good afternoon Hales, and Happy New Year!

1. I doubt a repeat is in the cards. The Bruins strike me as a tougher team this season than last, so they will let Saturday's game fester for a spell before they unleash a fury upon the Thrashers.

2. During day games I make Mexican food and each nachos. At night it's strictly pizza and anything that doesn't give me an upset stomach (I had intestinal surgery last year).

3. I work on puzzles and read sports articles. I also do some writing, either on my sports pages or in my journal.

The powers that be have made me work the day shift today. So far I've missed the Spengler Cup final (Canada won BTW) and the Canada vs Denmark Junior game. And what will there be for me to watch when I get home? Another 'who gives a crap about this stupid game' college football bowl game sponsored by some redneck chicken stand in Bumhump, Louisiana.
I'm eating Tums at the moment. I'm in charge and 4 of my key people came down with New Years Flu. It's okay, I'm docking their cheques for it.
Go to the store and resupply?

I get to watch the game today. I have off from work. 1) No I don't think that will repeat 2) a day game I usually don't eat beforehand. I go out to eat after or make something at home during the intermission, at night I have usually had luch at somepoint, but nothing special. 3) if i'm home a good cat nap is refreshing.

I am leaving the office at 2:00 so I could go home and watch, but I am going to a Mexican place and starting New Years Eve early. I have tickets to the Canes/Islanders game tonight but decided not to make the 2 hour trip, feeling crummy.

1) No repeat today, Boston bounces back and takes care of business.

2) I am all over the map as far as eating and drinking during games, alot depends on if I have to go to work the next morning.

3) Sleep off my buzz so at 7 I am ready for another round!

It might be just the games I've seen but I have a real hard time watching Boston play this year.
2 & 3, That's what Y!A is for.

It depends on the first period-Atlanta scored three times in their last meeting.

2)Day games I eat caviar with a nice Chardonnay and night games I'm much more classy so i go with tacos and ribs with some Mountain Dew.

3)I try to catch up with my stories that I have on Tivo:)
