Mayawati's foray into the Chennai political arena is a welcome move and needs to be applauded as should her realisation that all
mollycoddling of dalits is not enough to win votes.Brahmins should also be brought into the mainstream without their feeling threatened all
the time by the reservation policies of successive governments.

Mayawati used a strategem to win the UP assembly elections by cobbling a coalition of disgruntled but influential communities.
Annadurai of DMK did it 40 years ago.!
However, the divide between the Brahmins and the dalits
widened still!
As long as the caste system continues. the confusion in Indian politics would continue!
A minority community highly educated, well placed and greatly influential, has been manipulating the majority castes
and making them dance to its tunes. This game has been successful for the last fifty years!
Thanks to the spread of education among other castes also, the other castes have become conscious of their rights and due places in the scheme of things!Hence, the vested interests have used the 'trump' of "rank communalism "to keep the majority fight with the minorities and entrench their own positions in the process. The gullible northeners have
been hooked !
But the south indians have seen through the game and have decided to fight the war to uproot the vicious weed.
Setu is that acid test!

Nope. The confusion in Pakistan will never be reconciled until they find a 'scapegoat' to hate. It will be the Indians. Prepare for it.
