All the trailers run after each other and there are 3 in total so watch them all! It's Cloverfield - does anyone know when it'll be released in the UK? The date there is for the USA.

Hmm, I'm not sure. It says it's a monster film, but it doesn't show them in these clips which is really good!

I think the movie is getting influenced by '' War of the Worlds '' theme.
The Movie itself looks extremely graphic, but in the mist of it all it has mystery, who are they?, what do they want?..
I think the movie is going to be on how they survive, how do THEY stop it, again, the theme of War of the Worlds.
Looking at that I think it's going to be run at a 12(A), mainly on the graphics, and the swearing if any comes, But then again it is only a trailer - so all they do is show the best parts to get you intrested,
so is it looking good? - you can say that again!, coming soon to a cinema near ME!

I have been following this movie since July. It is more than a movie. Each of the characters have their own backstory and there are several fake companys involved with the creation of the monster.

the movie is about a group of people that throw someone a going away party and decide to record it ..they're plans are interrupted when n.y.c is attacked by a monster the size of a sky scraper..so i guess its kinda Blair witch (with the camcorder feel)meets Godzilla..it does look interesting ...especially when the head of the statue of liberty is ripped off and thrown into the street...not sure when it comes out in u.k though...

I'm most intrigued by the way its "filmed" - through a personal video camera of one of the party guests. I think that could increase the feelings of terror, kind of like 'The Blair Witch Project' did when it was released. Plus the fact that the cast and crew have been completely mum about what they're running from - the only thing they've said is that it's not Godzilla (which is good because another remake would be awful).
I saw the previews for it when I saw 'Transformers' - I liked the previews better than that movie, so I've been waiting a while. I'll definitely be there to see it.

I saw the posters and was intrigued (they just had a picture of a devastated NYC and the number 2008).
Then I found out it was called Cloverfield and lost interest. Its a pretty rubbish name.
Also, why does everything ALWAYS happen in NYC? Are there no other cities in the world?
