Myself, I would look for a 1966 Pontiac Bonneville 2+2. With the 421 eng.,2-4 bbl carbs, 4 spd, and 4:56 rear end. Fastest production car made. 0-60 in 3.9 sec. Hottest red lite to red lite car ever made. HotRod magazine 50th anniversary Ed.And it looks just like the GTO

The 64 as it is also considered by many to be the first true muscle car,mid size car with more than 350 ci,they have a cool look and stance.

1967 because it has a look of power, and with the 400 big block that most of them came out with it is every bit as bad *** as it looks

1966 is the best looking year. The tail lights put it over the top.

66 and 67 were very similar, but the 67 had a stainless mesh grille and better looking tail lights, IMHO. But I may be biased, I have a 67 convertible.
then again, the 64 convert I'm working on is pretty cool, and I really love my 05 GTO with SAP.
Darn, now I can't pick!

Few will agree Im sure, but 2004.
The newer ones are just so easy to ignore. They blend into the background, but if you actually stop to look their sleek and gorgeous. Theyre packing tons of power but unlike a Vette no one expects it.
The 2005 hood ruined the look by adding unnecessary hood scoops, luckily there was an option for the old hood.
